Nonprofit & Tax Strategy Philanthropy

After my career in the Navy, I founded Charities Division, a fundraising company that raises money for select charities and also forms new nonprofit organizations.

Charities Division is a growing employer in the United States, utilizing independent contractors to help connect donors with platform services.

Platform financial services such as the nonprofit formation service, the private grant-making service, and requesting donor-advised fund distributions are available worldwide, except to certain countries or specifically designated nationals who have active sanctions in place by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

My Vision and Priorities in the Nonprofit Space

I put a lot of careful thought into ways I could continue serving — so I created Charities Division to help in big ways. I’m especially proud of the part of our service where we match 10% of your donation in the form of a private grant, because it puts so much back into the community and basically makes your donation 110% effective.

In addition to the tax benefits and jobs created by Charities Division, stay tuned for three new nonprofit organizations currently in the works:

  • One of the new nonprofits will serve as a “one stop shop” for donor giving to any 501(c)(3) charity. There are more than 1.5 million charities, and this organization will support all of them.
  • Another new nonprofit will lend money to active duty U.S. military service members at disruptively low interest rates, including interest-free loans if justified by a service member’s situation, and will offer useful resources such as financial mentorship programs.
  • The third new nonprofit is an amateur radio club with its primary purpose devoted to satellite communication amateur service activities.
